New Home

After a beautiful sunny day playing in the garden, meeting a snake, and staying cool in the shade of the potatoes, the 5 chicks are sleeping in their new home!  

They didn't seem to be upset or confused when I put them in, but I could tell they were really tired.  They piled up and tucked their heads under to sleep, not eating or drinking at all, not even touching their corn grits!

The potatoes are growing so big, and the squashes are beginning to flower, I wish the poppies and borage would start to flower too, I like more color in the garden.

This morning chickens were adjusting well to their new home, eating and drinking and pooping everywhere! 

They seem bigger already compared to yesterday morning in the brooder.   What a difference a day makes!
